How can we tell who’s lying, who’s not?

Non-Verbal Communication is the way our bodies, faces, hands and feet tell the story about what our true thoughts are

Face macro expressions :

the face will betray the deceiver’s true emotion, but not in the stereotypical ways we think.
“cracking” briefly and allowing displays of true emotion to leak on to the face, not noticed by most of the supportive public.
The face and its musculature are so complex—so much more complex than anywhere else in our external bodies
There are some muscles in the face you can’t control … and those muscles won’t be activated in the absence of genuine emotion
If someone is telling a really important lie in which the consequences are dire, say life imprisonment, the lie will be revealed anyway. Because unlike body language, you can’t monitor or completely control what’s going on your face. This research was the first detailed experimental demonstration of the secrets revealed when people put on a “false face,” faking or inhibiting various universal emotions
The human has four universal emotions: happiness, sadness, disgust, and fear.
there are certain specific facial actions that cannot be created just because we want them to. As well, facial actions may be involuntarily expressed in the presence of a genuine emotion
A man when moderately angry, or even when enraged, may command the movements of his body, but … those muscles of the face which are least obedient to the will, will sometimes alone betray a slight and passing emotion. This called Micro expression.

Hands movement :

Excess face touching or nose scratching can be a good indicator of a lie.

Eye contact :

Studies concluded that eye contact is not an indication of lying or truth-telling
Even though ,blinking a lot can be lying. Now, we don’t prescribe to this thought 100%. Some people do not have great eye contact by nature, so this point isn’t always a given 100%. Yet, mixed together with some of the others it can point to a lie.

Words use:

A liar will skip contractions— saying “I did not” instead of “I didn’t”—and avoid pronouns, using someone’s full name instead of “he” or “she.”

Smile

A true smile versus a fake smile. A fake smile is just with the mouth. A real smile uses the eyes, the cheeks, the whole face

Posture

by folding their arms, for example.

Pauses before responding

Pausing momentarily before responding; if the silence makes them uncomfortable, they may be lying. Of course, if someone is naturally slow, don’t count that.

Details

Pay attention to details. If they provide more information than necessary, that’s a bad sign. People tend to be overly specific when they’re making something up.

Change the subject

Change the subject. Is the conversation just over or are they trying to change it quickly? Pay attention and see if this indicates untruthfulness. Better yet, you can try and change the subject. Did they seem relieved? Might be an indication.
